Privacy Policy

This is a plain-English description of what EZWA does with your data. It's written to be honest and short, not to cover every legal edge case — it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet, and the app is currently in early testing, not a public product.
What EZWA stores
- Food log — meals you log, and their macros (protein, carbs, fat, calories).
- Training log — the exercises, sets, reps, and loads you log.
- Water intake — how much you log each day.
- Body measurements — waist, chest, arms, etc., if you choose to log them. These stay on your device only; they are not uploaded anywhere.
- Blood-test files — a PDF or photo you choose to add, kept on your device only, never read or interpreted by the app.
- Sleep, steps, and heart-rate variability (HRV) — read from Apple Health, read-only, and only after you grant permission through iOS's own Health-access prompt. EZWA never writes anything back to Apple Health.
- UAE food label photos — if you submit a food item for the UAE database, the label photo you take is stored in a private area of EZWA's backend, used only to verify the macros you entered.
Where it's hosted
Your account data (food log, training log, weekly backups) is hosted with Supabase. Body measurements and blood-test files stay on your device — they are not uploaded to Supabase or anywhere else.
What it's used for
- Your own tracking inside the app — the whole point of EZWA.
- The weekly summary you choose to send your coach on WhatsApp. EZWA drafts it; you review it and send it yourself. EZWA never sends anything to your coach automatically.
What EZWA does NOT do
- Does not sell your data. Ever, to anyone.
- Does not show ads.
- Does not use third-party analytics or tracking. The app's only external dependency is Supabase's own software — there is no analytics, advertising, or crash-tracking kit built into EZWA.
Your rights
You can delete your account and data at any time from Profile → Delete account & data. That screen lists exactly what gets removed. A few honest limits on that (also stated on the screen itself):
- A food item you submitted that was later verified into the shared UAE database stays in the database (it's shared, verified content by that point) — only the link back to your account is removed.
- Deleting your account removes your data and signs you out. The underlying login record is currently removed by the founder directly on request, until an automated path is built.
